Spring Ball

So the buds are coming out of the ground, the snow is finally melting, and the coats are going into the closet for good. This is a great time of year. After a long winter of no sun, it feels so good to get a few rays of sunshine to energize your spirit. I think that everyone is walking with a skip in there step. And with good reason. The Spring Ball is coming up soon. All the girls are getting excited for the first formal dance of the new year. And all the guys are getting excited, because the girls are getting excited. Everyone is looking for dates and a good time to have this Saturday. Yes, I said this Saturday. And I don't have a date yet. I'm kind of old fashoned. I believe that a guy should ask the girl in a unique or special way. I hate it when someone asks a person to a dance by a text saying, "Hey, you wanna go to the dance with me?" Lame! I mean, he should at least write a nice note or get her some flowers and a plate of muffins. Who could say no to a muffin?! Definitely not me. So maybe that's what I'll do, give her some flowers and some muffins. I bet it will work. Who could say no to The Muffin Man?
